Colliers International Croatia opens new office in Split

Colliers International Croatia, the leading international property consultants, opened a new office in Split yesterday. It is the third office in Croatia to be opened, after Zagreb and Dubrovnik. The Split office is to focus on commercial real estate, with particular emphasis on the retail and office sectors.
Although the real estate market in Split has been driven predominantly by the second home and residential segment, this is likely to change soon.
The adaptation of a local urban plan and the creation of commercial zones are likely to result in significant development in the retail and office sectors. The Colliers Split office will be engaged in this development in Split, Sibenik and Zadar.
The office will be run by Ivana Bucevic, who has previously run Dubrovnik office. Ivana Bucevic said, “I am from Split myself and am extremely proud to have the opportunity to be involved in the commercial regeneration of the city. The projects planned will have a big effect on the quality of life in Split, transforming it once more into the real centre of Dalmatia, as it deserves.”
Colliers International Croatia is currently undertaking a major expansion program, the plan of the management team of managing director Tomislav Perovic and general manager Vedrana Likan.
“Commercial real estate market in Croatia is finally becoming decentralized and we are very excited about the potential for growth in this region, particularly in the spheres of retail and office,” stated Tomislav Perovic on this occasion. Vedrana Likan concluded, “Opening this office shows how serious we are about taking part in the growth of commercial real estate in Split and Dalmatia. Our main focus is on major retail and office developments that are about to happen in this region.”
Colliers International Croatia is also set to announce an array of new projects, following on from its great success with Avenue Mall. The projects include new shopping centres across the country and striking new office projects.
