HRK 3 million in incentives for tourism

The Zagreb County continues encouraging and financing a number of programs intended for improvement of the tourist offer and positioning the county as an attractive tourist destination, reports Croatian business magazine Poslovni Dnevnik .
The tender for allocating one-off financial incentives for the year 2008 for organizing the events that develop tourism is open for ten more days. County Prefect Stjepan Kozic says that the events budget for this year is HRK 1 million. Another million was earmarked for small village tourism businesses, a million will be used for co-financing projects by the County’s tourist board and 90,000 for the training programs.
The County Prefect is certain of a big response to the tender, which will result with attractive events that will contribute to the promotion of the Zagreb County as an attractive tourist destination.
