New tourism investments in Fazana

03 January 2008

The construction works of new hotels in the area of Fazana, a city a few kilometres far from Pula, in Istria, are about to begin. After the construction of the new camping site of Bi Village, in the location of Valbandion, the preparations for the construction of a luxury holiday resort for 200 guests, managed by the local hotel investment company Proficio, have begun. It is estimated that the value of the investment stands at some 15 million euro. The future investments in the tourist village Pineta, which faces the Brioni National Park, in the region of Fazana, are part of the project Brijuni Rivijera, which envisages the construction of high category hotel structures for 600 guests. The ongoing works for the infrastructures of the region lead to forecast that the area of Fazana might become, by 2010 the most dynamic site in Istria from the point of view of the construction industry, with total investments worth some 100 million euro.
