New skyscraper to be built in Sibenik

The town of Sibenik has given green light to local company Zagreb Montaza to build a commercial and residential centre in the form of the tallest skyscraper (76 m) in the town.
The total investment stands at EUR 100 million and the project is expected to be completed by 2010. The new centre will cover an area of 27,000 sq metres and will have an underground parking with 1,100 spaces.
Zagreb Montaza is one of the major investors in the area of Sibenik planning to build another 150,000 square metres of buildings for commercial, residential and tourist purposes in the next five years.
The estimated worth of all projects is EUR 500 million. Beside the projects in Sibenik, Zagreb Montaza also participates in the project for the construction of two skyscrapers worth a total of EUR 75 million in Zagreb in collaboration with local company Dalekovod.
