Investment in spa centre in Novi Vinodolski worth EUR 150 million
25 August 2008
Novi Spa Hotel&Resort, due to open this autumn, will become the largest spa centre in Europe. This will round-up the investment worth EUR 150 million in the first phase of the project. The owners, with equal shares, are developer Gordan Sirola and former tennis player Bruno Oresar, who invested a part of their own capital, but were also assisted by bank loans.
Novi Spa Hotel&Resort is expected to be the driver of high-class vacation, but also congress tourism in Kvarner. Together with the spa, a business zone will be opened in autumn, together with the Six Winds hotel with 130 rooms. A new investment cycle is expected in the second phase, late in 2009, with the building of forty luxury villas, 50 apartments, and the second 200-room hotel.
