Real estate prices grow the least in ten years

In July 2008, the growth of real-estate prices in Croatia reached a ten-year low of 2.7 per cent. In the past ten and a half years, the prices of property in the country increased by as much as 92.6 per cent.
The average price of real estate was down by half per cent in Croatia in July, compared to June. According to an analysis by Centar nekretnina, July was also the month to see the first drop of property prices in the Adriatic region on a monthly level. Prices in Zagreb are expected to stabilize by the end of the year, and on the coast they will continue dropping slightly.
Prices of real estate were growing the most in Croatia in the period between 2003 and mid 2007 (61.6 per cent).
