Orco Property Group interested in HTP Solta

Luxembourg-based investment company Orco Property Group intends to purchase hotel resort company HTP Solta this year. Negotiations and due diligence are currently underway, confirmed Orco, adding that this is only one in the series of companies they are interested in, as a part of their concept of the Croatian island destinations.
After entering the public-private partnership in Suncani Hvar in 2005, a month ago Orco signed the concession contract with the City of Sibenik for the island Obonjan, where it will be building a top-category hotel complex worth EUR 100 million. Orco is also interested in projects in Stari Grad on island Hvar, as well as privatization of HTP Korcula. HTP owns suits, restaurants, discos and business premises and allegedly Orco offered EUR 12 million.
